VASHON KIWANIS COMMUNITY CALENDAR

 Printable Version

Community calendar encourages connections

All day every day your friends welcome you with the Kiwanis Community Calendar. All day every day your favorite organizations’ phone is handier than riffling phone book pages or searching your computer's jillion choices.

Easier, quicker, more selective than yellow pages

  • Making it easy and convenient to talk to other Islanders is one value of the calndar.

  • Reminding you of your appointments and other important dates as well as community activities the Kiwanis Community Calendar is another.

  • In sum, the calendar offers a convenient way to encourage unity in community.

    Morning reminder on the wall

For more than a decade hundreds of islanders sipped morning coffee noticed the community calendar on their wall. It’s where they noted appointments, community meetings, and other reminders. Birthdays and anniversaries can be there when your family subscribes. Favorite businesses too.

The calendar helps clubs and organizations public and private keep their name, phone, and web page address in front of people any hour of the day or night.

    Categories for quicker look

Businesses and professionals are listed by category. Businesses can also take block display adds for more attention every day.

There’s space for your own frequently called numbers and web site addresses.

    Key emergency numbers, too

Key emergency numbers are listed separately for easiest use.

A dramatic color photo of a typical Island scene offers Island photographers’ insight into what Island life is like. Some Islanders buy calendars for relatives.

Many Islanders post their community calendar near their phone. Others post them in sight of their breakfast table.

Businesses and professional offices celebrate community by posting their calendar where customers can see what date it is.

To reserve your calendar call Jay Becker, 206 790 9457 now or e-mail him at jaybecker@aol.com.
