Currently, Vashon Kiwanis is developing guidelines for giving to gain more impact for community funds. That does not preclude asking for small amounts, as in the past. So far it only means there might be fewer grants for small amounts. The new grant application below may be used to seek funds. Kiwanis' exmphasis remains on benefitting younng children and youth. Senior citizens' well being is addressed also.
Remember, the Community Fund is replenished by people who buy all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts at Festival.
